What does your nickname mean? - Benkei refers to a famous warrior monk from feudal Japan, who actually existed but turned into a legend over time. I also seem to recall reading a book in which a Benkei appears, believe it was "Shíke" and that Benkei was kick-ass too but a samurai.

Why did you choose it? - At that time I was really into Eastern philosophy, Aikido and Judo. It was a story I came accross and it is easy to pronounce for most people so quickly became my second internet handle (the first being Myth).

How old are you? - 30

Male or Female? - male

Any additional details/interesting facts? I built a studio in my house last monday and it rocks! I just felt like sharing that... grin

- How are you doing?
- I'm doing good.
- No, Superman is doing Good, you're doing well. You need to brush up on your grammar.

Sao Paulo, Brazil? Mumbai, India?

On a side note, my suspicion that this forum is predominantly male is being strenghtened.

What does your nickname mean? - From the sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh.

Why did you choose it? - I was reading the Epic, and found Enkidu to be the most likeable character.

How old are you? - 40

Male or Female? - male

Any additional details/interesting facts? - None I can think of right now, anyway, my blog is in my profile, though it's a bit specialized right now, I intend to diversify it a bit later on.

Lol, no way.

London used to be so...pristine. What the heck happened? Another thread, perhaps?

What does your nickname mean? - Just what it says

Why did you choose it? - I don't really remember, I picked it up a long time before the internet appeared.

How old are you? - I appear to be 50, but the Grey effect makes me look younger than I am.

Male or Female? - Male

Any additional details/interesting facts? I travel about thirty miles to work and it takes about five hours to get there and back, if I'm lucky. I have ten weeks vacation a year and don't work weekends. My father is older than me, haha.

hyena in petticoat - It's hard to explain. But you get the idea.

Why? Because I like it. I can relate to it.

I'm turning 25 this year.

Female.

Not sure if the facts about me are interesting.

Man this forum has quite an age range, I love it.

Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor...
I am Pagliacci."

Good joke, everybody laugh.

But not quite a balanced gender representation. Wonder why?

*EDIT*: Added location to OP.
