Pulp - This is Hardcore

Where once my wit, perchance, hath shone,
In aid of others let me shine;
And when, alas! our brains are gone,
What nobler substitute than wine?

I've just been playing my harmonica, where I was playing and singing my own rendition of:

Son House- Death Letter

Which I was obviously listening too as I played.

Masada VI. A customer just stopped in to the bookstore where I work and bought Arcana a collection of essays edited by John Zorn without knowing who Zorn is. I threw on Masada to give her a taste.

The freedom of philosophy is nothing but the capacity to lend a voice to its unfreedom. The more passionately thought denies its conditionality for the sake of the unconditional, the more unconsciously, and so calamitously, it is delivered up to the world. Theodor Adorno

Mothership, Mothership Do You Read Me by Cursive
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams by Green Day
The Great Disappointment by A.F.I.
Wandering Star by Portishead

That's just this minute. I'll go through metalcore, alternative, pop-punk, techno (love my techno) & goa (love my goa), and weird stuff like Portishead. How the hell do you catergorize them, anyway?

There's the slight hum of the CPU, and the occassional car passing on the road outside. Some tapping on the keys as I right this also. Otherwise it's fairly quiet; the world's just too damn noisy for me most of the time.
