Hi, It strikes me that when I'm not logged in, and I follow a link to a thread in one of the topics pages, the thread is often truncated. The thread actually looks like it is a copy from a certain time ago. Also, these pages have the encoding set wrongly so utf-8 characters appear garbled. Obviously there is a simple workaround (log in) but maybe there are people who have no login and who just want to read, or who want to read without having to log in. Any advice? Oh yes, I cleared my browser cache and tried different browsers. Thanks.

The thread actually looks like it is a copy from a certain time ago. That's because it is, when the server load is over a threshold. I need to keep the site responsive for members, which means serving up a cache to non-members, many of whom may be spiders responsible for the slowdown. Edited by Paul on 06/22/08 - 11:59 PM
