Oh pardon me, I mistook the last person to post for the original poster. Glazed wrote: Actually you quoted the original poster. Not me. "I don't care about his suffering. As I noted, I do not feel empathy for people. I simply see black and I see white and attack the former." Maybe by intelligence and reasoning he views the world and it's population as immoral and selfish. If this man also saw just black and white he would be inclined to attack anyone he met. Being logical he wont see any sense in ending his life when he could be trying to change that reality the best he can. The population of the world is indeed "seemingly" immoral and selfish. There are too many injustices to name, too many people who do not care or appear too stupid to understand. Logical conclusions (2 possible) 1: There is a problem with the current world order and changing it could create "goodness" (something the person likes, if he would attack black) 2: Humans are immoral and selfish (and fraudulent, since they attempt to hide it), and nothing will change it. If 1, then he will attempt to change the world to his liking since he is intelligent. If 2, he will see no point in existing in a world in which he is out of place. He will HAVE to assume 1, since that is the only world in which he could meaningfully exist with a purpose. You could say he would have to HOPE. Or he would kill himself, because there is no meaningful point to eradicating everything to simply end up with nothing. |
