I was thinking (excuse the pun), and I came across a problem, the brain can receive stimuli, but it doesn't seem to have the power to interpret them in a way that would produce an active conscious or sub-conscious decision, and yet we seem to have it none the less, so that must indicate an outside influence. Now even Einstein said everything is relative, so it implies that everything is linked, and the famous phrase came to mind, "cognito ergo sum", and I got a crazy idea; time grants consciousness, and I am referring to time as a form of energy and not the ticking of a clock, the very universe actively grants us the ability to be conscious by an active energy transfer.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say, exactly, by 'time grants consciousness.' While I think I agree, do you mean that time 'gives' consciousness, or that consciousness is 'in' time? I think both are rather trivial at this point, and I fail to see how they support the conclusion that 'consciousness [is granted]...by an active energy transfer' (sure, but what does it mean?) That said, if by 'time as a form of energy,' you mean 'time as the phenomenal experience of motion,' then I would probably agree, but again I don't see how this supports your conclusion.

Would you care to expand?
