All right, so I'm a fourteen year old guy who has an idea, that I presume is pertinent to this forum's general topic.
The idea's a bit outlandish, so bear with me here. I just need to curve it/develop it a bit more.

My idea is that the subconscious is actually a more complex abstraction (I know you know that), that in actuality immediately is attuned to recognize and act indirectly upon it's environment. Hypothetically, one's actions are predetermined, but the individual is unconsciously aware of this. To be termed conceptually, it's a psychological fate, so to speak, that needs little to no conditions to thrive, and is triggered from an immediate, empiricist conception.
Now in terms of societal interaction, the subconscious might only need to have a superficial knowledge of the person, and will rearrange it's actions to the individual's betterment.
Think of it almost as an abstract parasite, one humans are unconscious of but are substantially influenced by.

Feel free to shoot this down, I have an idea that this is already how humans psychologically function, but this is just a bit more complex than that.

No, the unconscious is not a parasite. If anything it carries you every day to your every destination and need.

This song will prepare you for a good smile.

I like the idea that consciousness is a parasite. In effect, its an information parasite which infects our brains, but it lives in mutually beneficial symbiosis with our bodies (our bodies gain benefit from the parasite, just as the parasite gains benefit from our bodies).

Its a bit like the rider and the horse. We can look upon the rider as a (temporary and optional) parasite living in mutually beneficial symbiosis with the horse.

The difference in the case of the consciousness parasite is that its not optional. The symbiotic relationship has now become so close and interdependent that a human would be unable to function (independently) if the parasite is removed.

I'd say you're right on and you should keep thinking about this. I for one want to see where you go with this.

Our subconscious can control our actions. I hope you don't smoke, being 14 but if you did you might notice how instinctively people pocket lighters.
There are just things our subconscious does for us almost like breathing. We just have to do some of these things and it's hard to adjust them but it's not all impossible to work with your subconscious.

It may seem like a parasite, but the symbiotic relationship between all of the elements that make up your person can work with or against you.

If you could have a conversation with all the parts that make up you, the mind, body, emotions, soul, whatever, who would they be like and how would they get along? Can they get along? Why or why not, what makes the bonds strong and what deteriorates them?

Sometimes we selfishly invest in the wants of the conscious mind like it's the only thing we need. However that mind has the tenancy to neglect or punish the body, emotion and soul.
Having them work in harmony makes them seem less like a parasite, although symbiotic still, they can work together like the lungs and heart in your body.

Keep it up, 14 is an amazing age. Don't listen to anyone but yourself we all just have opinions, yours is the most important one.
