No, this puts things wrong way round. A proposition is often useful because it is true. A proposition isn't true simply because it is useful.

You will note that my belief is true, but it is based upon pragmatism, not observation or reason.

Your belief is true but your justification for holding such a belief is insufficient to support a claim for knowledge.

And you would know this because...?

. . . because there is no evidence for the existence of any god nor any persuasive rational argument?

"Knowledge" is constantly changing. "Knowledge" quickly is accepted, grows old and dies, only to be replaced by new "better" knowledge.
The only constant is WISDOM. The value of wisdom does not change. Wisdom's value may at times be "equal"(we must remember that value is subjective). But in the long run the "value"(as you see it anyway) of wisdom stays constant, where the knowledge is quickly replaced.

Knowledge gets you fame and power.
Wisdom tells you how to use it well.

And this evidence for complete denial would be? A theologian can always successfully argue for a flying teapot behind Saturn and win, if you have ever even attempted it. Science is about research, not predictions - that's where you cannot use it to disregard a prediction. I am not religious, but I would never write a deist possibility off. It's too extreme as a proposition, this atheism.

Rationality suggests deism until we hit the limits of the unknown universe. Even Dawkins accepts the possibility of artificial insemination of proteins and bacteria on our planet. So where are you at here?

I’m struggling to understand what it is that makes you think my position on this might have changed? I have not (thus far) referred to “justification” (or even knowledge) anywhere in this thread.
I was referencing perhaps another discussion of yours in a related thread, both dealing with almost identical epistomological questions. Does each thread stand independently?

One’s ideas (if one is consistent) should be coherent between threads, but (pardon me if I am repeating myself), I have not once referred to justification or knowledge in this particular thread so (once again) I’m not sure of the reason for your question?
