I've been reading again. And while reading, this mostly separate question came to mind. Say you have a culture, or a country. This country is defined by both racial and cultural bindings. Does the definition of said People, end when either the race is decimated, or the culture is decimated?

A country, actually, is defined by legal borders and military sovereignty. What you are talking about is a nation. In that case the definition depends on the people. How do they define their own identity? The Christian nation, for example, clearly exemplifies a case where cultural bindings are ever more important than racial ones; whereas, say, the Serbian nation culturally defines itself mainly along racial criteria. Once all the people of the proper heritage are wiped out, no more Serbian nation.
