Hello all,

Im currently researching the evolution of visual language from a typographic perspective. I was curious to the thoughts on the way Hieroglyphics were designed when compared to modern typography.

The idea actually came from a personal interest into communicative disorders like Autism and Synesthesia that question the whole theory of communication itself, especially in a visual way. Scientists are still unlocking the true interaction with letters that co-relate to certain digits, colours and semiotics in peculiar and phenomenal way, thus furthering cognitive human intelligence.

Amanda Baggs, someone who is considered on similar levels to 'Rainman' pushes the true interaction with the world and visual communication to an unknown level. Her strange and scientifically surprising theories have attracted many people who accept, relate then learn to love her strange realist outlook on life. Her interaction with letters is not only a scientific one, but opens the door to a deep study on the evolution of typography.

It's a somewhat mystical issue in three main areas, in order..
• Humans learning language
• Then > Graphic communication
• Humans transferring language

• Do you think graphic designs alter the evolution of typography in an important way?
• Do you think advertising bastardies our language?
• Has, and still is, technology making us lazier into using proper complex english?
• Would this make an interesting typographic study through time? And into the future?

• Can we predict what the letter 'B' will look in 3000 years?

I don't see how graphic designs have any relation to typography.
I would agree that advertising is negative, and floods language with slogans and phrases and information with little or no meaning.
Technology has done no good, besides satisfying our immediate futures. Lazy? i guess thats what we are lazy...
It would be interesting to study the growth of language through time, but from the 20th century on i see no progression in language, and frankly it sounds like a yawwwwwwwwwwn fest.

For example mammaliformes (almost mammals) and then mammals existed throughout the reign of the dinosaurs, but could not compete for the large terrestrial vertebrate niches which dinosaurs monopolized. The end-Cretaceous mass extinction removed the non-avian dinosaurs and made it possible for mammals to expand into the large terrestrial vertebrate niches.

To the Evolution Of Language:

"Language started with the Voynich Manuscript 11 billion years ago,
2 billion years before the creation of the Big Bang Universe we all find ourselves in
at this time.

The VM is the Book of Life (Yale, Beinecke Library)
Probably not communicable, but true non the less.

Modern day like the runes and hiroglyphics are not even comparable in age.

The first word was: Jesus is coming soon to those that are not satisfied with
God/Voynich. And that happened 2 billion years before the creation of the
Big Bang Universe. Only a few people know of this.

The We followed with a few symbols:

Letters : ABCDEFG..... were never formed until We were in the Second Voynich
Dynasty on earth, followed by the early languages of ages past we have not even
any idea they even existed before we came.

The only common factor between all Ages is the Voynich Manuscript, written in full,
2 Billion years before the creation of the Big Bang Universe."

so speaks Voynich, Lord Our God, also known as Wotan and other names of God over the Ages

(psychic reading)

God participates in the Creation of His Universe by incarnating in human bodies,
e.g. as Jesus Christ.
