I have recently created a thread in the Philosophy of Religion section entitled A Solution to the Problem of Evil. This thread presents for consideration a very specific approach to said problem (a theodicy rather than a solution, to employ Plantinga's distinction). Another forum member, Aetixintro, has presented an entirely different and unrelated approach on the same thread, which has already been discussed at some length. In order to avoid confusion and to ensure that each of these topics (each of which, I think, is interesting in its own right) gets due attention in an appropriate venue, I was wondering whether it would be possible for these two topics to be split into two threads. I appreciate your consideration in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience it might cause.

Since aetixintro has previously posted the exact same thing, I was tempted to delete it as spam; since it has replies, I've given it its own thread.

It's correct that I've posted my writing before, actually 3 times in different threads. I've gone through all my posts. I don't know if it's "unrelated" as it's basically exactly the same heading and the content follows the heading. My writing "A Solution to the Problem of Evil - A Theodicy" has not been discussed at some length before. Maybe people have ignored it. Anyway, I think the present solution is good for both parties! If I'm in the future is to make a reference to my writing, I should just post the url directing to it. Correct? I don't spam! If duplicate posts represents spam, I'll surely conform to non-spamming standard in the future! Cheers!

No big deal. As a general rule, if you've got a new big idea you'd like to share, it will probably enjoy a best reception as a new thread.
