Next year I will write a senior thesis in philosophy. But for now, I'd like help finding a topic. I'm most knowledgable about Wittgenstein and the philosophy of language. I also enjoy existentialism and topics in ethics. Any bright ideas? What would you write about if you had the chance?

You could do a standard Wittgenstein-influences-who bit. I mean, I don't know how much work has been done on Wittgenstein's influence on Kripke; perhaps use Evans' "bad philosophy of mind" argument to tie Kripke to Wittgenstein? (I can get you citations if you think you'll pursue this...) Where are you studying?

Interesting that OP is almost the exact same as me - I'm a junior about to write my thesis, and it is almost certainly going to be about Wittgenstein. Advice to you, Kpetersen: if your specialty is the philosophy of language, then you would do well to relate it to some 'concrete' knowledge you possess - do you know any foreign languages? If not, do you know any computer languages? Inside of these fields you are going to find the richest possibilities for topics, because they actually deal with the essence of philosophical inspiration- the real world.
