Dear members,

I have been combing the Internet and particularly Google Books to try and find the official French version of a quote by Kierkegaard (I have the English and would like to know if it has already been translated into French).

My question is: do you know where the following quote is excerpted from?

"I once returned from a party of which I was the life and soul; wit poured from my lips, everyone laughed and admired me – but I went away – and the dash should be as long as the earth's orbit --------------------------------------------------------- and wanted to shoot myself."

I guess it is is from his journal but any precision wold be very helpful.

Thanks.
