Hello, moderators

I've this thread in Philosophy of Language that is about syntax and semantics. If one gets no replies, but still needs to develop the argument, is it alright with you if I make new posts to it? Obviously, I think you want to avoid blogging in the threads, but outlining this argument of mine proves to be a huge job. There seems to be little interest in it for now, but it may improve. So, what are your opinions on this? Can I go ahead?

Cheers!

Quality posts are always welcome and if you need to expand/develop your argument that is no problem at all - go ahead.

Mindless bumping of a thread is frowned upon but this is not what you are proposing.

In http://forums.philosophyforums.com...ew-on-induction-36894.html, what happens if I post the following there:
"Hmm... nobody is posting in my thread! Alright, I'm a crazy person! You're now warned! On the other hand, it's Saturday, night from Friday, and it may be that I'm suffering a classic case of too much spiritus. Raving or madness or both, post here and test me! mad"

You can probably smell my spirit from one continent to another! Have I just been bumping a thread? shocked

Edit: I'm sorry, Bobard, if I'm playing a game on your good will. confused

Meh... I've found most studies of induction extremely flawed. Fall from a tree is of the grouping poly-thiestic form of Language, yet everbody claims it as axiomatic form.

As a proof for Aye!/Nay! induction - I normally shy away from such threads when the idealized form does not follow noumetic methodology known as Scientific Form.

"...There was a writer who asked why it was that when we find positive experiences we say that only the physical facts are real, but in negative experiences we believe that reality is subjective. He made an example of those who say that in birth only the pain is real, the joy a subjective point of view, but that in death it is the emotional loss that is the reality." - Tony Ballantyne, Recursion.

You can always use "edit" tool if you need to revise your post. And sometimes, people don't post when they agree, and when everything they would ever want to say is said already.

I need to get acquainted with sanity.

Rantings, rantings and more rantings. Seriously.
