Now, to be sure, my preference is to let them grow. On occasions they do become troublesome, but few things are as bad as trying to pluck one and not succeeding. THree minutes of sneezing, no improvement.

So I tend to wait until I can wrap them around a finger to ensure an adequate grip.

But, for our leaders, Nietzsche's overmen, what does not kill them makes them strong. Neither plucking nor snipping will kill them. So which ought they do?

Is plucking character-building?

So, Will, are you a snipper or a plucker?

I'd say snipper. Not a risk-taker. Sensible.

??? I'm still thinking it over. The ones that grow fastest generally get pulled out - but I generally flip the skin on my nose over and then cut them short. I coincidently noticed that I needed to trim them again today.

(I snip in lieu of pulling more on account of a negative health issue. I started with pulling.)

Admittedly - I wish my hair on the top of my head was as dark and straight as my nasal hair.

He made an example of those who say that in birth only the pain is real, the joy a subjective point of view, but that in death it is the emotional loss that is the reality." - Tony Ballantyne, Recursion.

With a bit of effort, you can blend them into the moustache hair. Take care when combing, though.

I thought you were a plucker, Cad.

But to the question - is plucking a better moral option than clipping? If so, why, exactly.

To be frank. They do come out sometimes with the buggers. Plucking has it's pro's. Snipping has it's cons. It depends on the situation.

EDIT: The lesser evil is pulling out buggers.

So it is context-dependent. But this does not mean we cannot discus within context.

So, all other things being equal, in what circumstances is it appropriate to pluck? SHould one prefer plucking? Should plucking be avoided in company, lest your enemy see you sneeze? Or ought one to pluck regularly so as to harden one's will to the task?

Well... if you exclude the choice of complete non-interference then in my case clipping causes the least damage to their biosphere.... rolling eyes
