Subject: Lacune/Lacuna
Hello,

I am currently doing research on the idea of things "missing," or the idea of "lacuna" as it pertains to image and text. Does anyone have any relevant philosophical references, any texts, that pertain directly to this idea? My angle so far is on the idea that something that is missing, the word missing itself, implies a lack, and therefore a presupposition/imagination of a whole.
