hi im new to this forum, well im actually new to philosophy in general. im 33 years of age, i have little education as i left school very early (year 9, 15 years old) and until recently i have hardly read a thing in the last 18 years since leaving school. my new found thirst for knowlage has come with owning of a laptop. Now im doing the hard yards reading and learning (self teaching), its a challenge just widening my vocabulary with correct spelling. i have always had "my own" thoughts, veiws and opinions on life, death, religion, art, space e.c.t all compiled from child hood thoughts, memories and dreams, influenced by nature, art, drugs e.c.t. My mentors were mainly a few rock stars (due to my data base),tho as i discover new influences (new to me) im finding they have been right under my nose the whole time, in my music and art. at the moment im enjoying reading stuff by aliester crowly, terence mckenna.

Education is a lifetime pursuit no matter when you begin. Welcome aboard.

If you won't fan the flames of discontent, at least don't join the fire department.

Isn't that a great feeling? It's like reaching into your pocket to find your keys and looking up at the torn apart living room you searched to find them.
There's no longer a care in the world about the living room, or the fact that there's somehow a book in your fish tank...You have the keys and that half eaten sandwich from last week.
The door is now yours to open. I hope you enjoy what you find on the other side!

If life is like a box of chocolates than Science and Philosophy are the insert card that let's you know what you're going to get. Read it wisely! ~Me
