Subject: Identity.
I would like to read some philosophy about identity, but I don't really know where to start or to search.

All recommendations are welcome.

There's a book by John Perry called Personal Identity. You can get a used copy for about $8 off Amazon.com. It brings together the views of several philosophers.

I think "Of Identity" from Essays on the Intellectual Powers of Man by Thomas Reid is a good start. See my signature sticking out tongue

I read that one a couple of years ago. It's probably one of the most concise books you can find on personal identity. Good suggestion. Btw, the Perry book also includes Reid wink

William Connolly - Identity\Difference

One of my all time favorite books; in fact, the book that got me into philosophy:

"Here in a nutshell is the thesis of this study: to confess a particular identity is also to belong to difference..."

Okay thanks for all your input; I'll try to find one of those books in the... library.
