Does anyone else constantly get these headaches on the left side of your brain when browsing through these forums? It's like a "my brain is about to burst out of my skull" kind of headache. Is this something to be alarmed about?

Well ya I am learning things for sure, but I don't know. These intrusive headaches are quite annoying, and I don't only get them when reading up on unfamiliar information. So you guys don't get them? Damn I was hoping it was a common thing amongst people who think perhaps too much.

Brain - what brain? I heard a neurosurgeon say that brains don't feel pain because they would need another brain to feel it with - so maybe it's just your head.

Do you get them while reading books? It might be to do with screens; could be if you adjust the contrast/ colours/ position it might improve. Or try sunglasses. cool It's most likely either eyestrain or muscle tension. If you like pseudoscience, you could try Brain Gym exercises. Unless you see steam coming out of your ears, it's most unlikely to be too much thinking as such.

Hmm, my eyes do seem to hurt along with the headache sometimes, I'm just curious as to why it's only the left side, that's what made me think it was me thinking too much in the first place.

Now muscle tension, what exactly causes this muscle tension for my head? Which part of my head is getting this expanding type of pain? I do get them while reading books, and sometimes without reading anything at all. I guess I'll watch more carefully as to where these headaches come from. They do a really good job with getting me to fear thinking too much or reading too much.

Neck muscles or jaw muscles are favourites for headaches. Sinuses can be a problem - check for tenderness just below the eyes next to your nose.

It may be that you have one dominant eye; I think some people can only read with one eye, and most with only a small central portion of their eyes. You might experiment with covering one eye for a bit.

Looking at your avatar, you might need to oil the cogs.wink

Well... here's a headache.. .why are the posts all showing up as KKiji?????

I usually get the 'headache' due to neck muscles in the back bottom portion, not normally the frontal left portion...

Mmm.. If your screen flickers, the color scheme of the sight could cause some problems.

I read that most headaches aren't to be alarmed about. Morning headaches, right after getting up, a severe one is something to be concerned about. kkiiji, your avatar fits your topic.

The standard view is that doctors are not at fault if they deceive their patients for their health's sake, and that fathers are not at fault if they deceive their children for their own good. For the crime of deception consists not in the falsity of what is said but in the harm done by the deceiver.
