This subforum is intended to provide a place for our members and guests to interact with eachother, in a non-formal manner. As a special subforum, different rules are in effect, which are outlined, below:

Selecting topics:

Topics don't necessarily need to be philosophical. It's up to you to pick questions and topics, so long as they relate to our guest in some way.

Format:

-Members will be given the opportunity to post questions in the form of threads, before the actual visit. If a question already is asked or if a similar question is raised, the threads will be merged or deleted. Naturally, guests themselves are free to post new topics if they so choose, about any topic they wish to discuss, including non-philosophical ones.
-Our guest might or might not reply to questions or topics posed, and no bumping of threads is allowed. It's up to our guest to decide whether to reply or not.
-Most of our guests are rather busy with their day jobs, so don't expect a reply immediately, if at all.
-A seperate thread will be posted to welcome our guests, so it's not necessary to post threads which do so. If you feel like welcoming a guest, do so in the specific thread. Seperate welcoming threads will be deleted.

General guidelines:

-Try to stay on-topic with regards to the questions posed. If a guest chooses to veer off into a different direction, this is up to them, not our members. If you wish to discuss a different topic, create a new thread.
-Don't post entire essays for our guests to review. Keep questions and comments clear and succinct. This doesn't preclude deep discussions of certain issues, but try to keep in mind that our guests are here in an informal cappacity, not to grade your paper or provide deep commentaries on your thoughts.
-As our guests, we expect them to be treated with dignity and respect. Any deviation won't be tolerated.

"I determined nothing."
-Sceptical expression
