Hello everyone,

I just finished a theory based artwork that I thought might interest some of you. It's an essay on deconstruction that simultaneously deconstructs the very notion of an essay (I know that sounds somewhat convoluted). There is a pretty in depth explanation/analysis directly following the piece. You can find it here: Deconstruction Essay.

Any critiques or general comments on the essay/artwork would be very much appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

Okay, to be fair. Deconstructive critiques usually, when they're successful, look towards a text to use the text against the rules established in supposed totality of a text (its closure). A dictionary definition really doesn't suffice for the meat of a deconstructive argument. But it's a good definition. But a good deconstruction is a demonstration, a gesture and a movement of text.

You should probably read Spivak's introduction to Of Grammatology. It's good.
