When I quote someone their text comes up scattered with strange symbols. The [quote=xyz] etc. are missing. It just started this morning...

Yo!
I get problems with added code (<Br> and such) if I try to edit my posts. I'm running Firefox 3.0.13 on Ubuntu Hardy LTS. I hope you can do something about it. Small notice: also the little picture for the neutral face is missing (it says "neutral" where there is supposed to be a face) on the interface for posting. Thanks for maintaining a great site!

All I see quoting your post is the quote tags as ever. Using WYSI editor...

That'd be in the plain editor I see. Fixed.</p>

But apparently there's an issue with quoting now... working on it.

hi paul,

couple of things (by the way I am using opera 8.54 and an older windows):

1) just now the line breaks being added that other people mentioned (this might already be ok, the edit just now worked fine).

2) this morning and also now the strangest thing. on the main login screen there is no reaction on returning after a password. just dead. no error, nothing. had gone to the library, could log on there. came home, same thing again. i finally got around that by using the login box which displays on a page by itself (on the left side) when you add to a thread, and that worked fine, then cleared cache and loaded the main page to get around it.

3) havn't tried lately, but several days ago couldn't make a new post (and hadn't for some time), I kept getting an error of "non-numeric catid" of post and preview. an id was part of the address above and on the error page was missing, so it seemed like it was being dropped.

I'll just try them again, but I thought I'd mention them in case you had any ideas.

3) Was there a specific thread you were trying to post in where you got that?

The links on illiteracy reports seem to have stopped working.
