Subject: April fools joke?
Was the forum hacked, or have the owners/moderators decided we must endure this joke all day long?

I have no idea if this is from inside the forum or outside hacking. I wish they wouldn't have done something like this. We devote our time here to discuss some utterly downright confusing questions with dozens of possible answers with no insight as to which of those make more sense than the others and then they go and mess with the posts which make it hard to decipher what the writer really meant and trying to figure out which parts are no more than just the prank compared to if they really are part of the original post.

The primary goal of almost all hackers is, of course, to ruin your grammar. It's a billion dollar industry. The GAF (grammar annihilation front) pays a black market bounty for each person a hacker strips of their grammar. The GAF itself is motivated by an extremist ideology in which txting is held up as the evolutionary end game of all communication, and once all other forms of communication are reduced to txtese the great prophet will return to Earth and give everyone a free unlimited data plan with free texts.

Think about it. It explains most of what you see on the internet.

You may take my grammar but you won't take my April Fools! This is all from the outside, they are so fast too. I bet this is coming from the Conficker virus to make us talk weird about philosophy at the philosophy forum.

Wow, you must have put a butt load of work into this!!! The topic title changes every time I click on it. Freaky
Heard joke once: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life seems harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world where what lies ahead is vague and uncertain. Doctor says "Treatment is simple. Great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go and see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says "But Doctor...
I am Pagliacci."

Good joke, everybody laugh.

I doubt this is from the outside. Wouldn't the administrators have done something about it all. Or at least make an announcement of some sort. Seeing some of this added stuff is kinda funny with all the scifi and conspiracy add-ons. (Vogons, mice, cia, PF administrators, futility of life, etc.)

Now he'll have ideas for next year's joke.
I do seem to remember a process where you people ask me questions and I give you answers, and then I ask you questions and you give me answers, and that's the way we find out things. I think I read that in a manual somewhere. -- Haywood Floyd 2010
