I am entirely new to Alfred Korzybski - I have just read his essay called "the Role of Language in the Perceptual Process" and I am curious if he was basically saying with the statement: "The map is not the territory," that because of our Aristotelian language system, we have created naive realism, i.e. we think that our view of the world is THE view of the world because of the verb "to be." So, if we were to say: "This is fantastic," we would think automatically that it is fantastic and that there is no arguing with it. Is that what that statement means?
