But whichever way you look at it, it still has eyes; it is of a strange nature that sees itself.

...most of our actions are the result of the past, or according to a future ideal. That's not action, that is just conformity. J Krishnamurti

"Philosophy, to the Philistine, is an evolutionary process, watched over by some sort of brisk dynamic Providence, and culminating in the supreme insight of modern thought." John Cowper Powys

Think of these arguments applied to our vicinity of the solar system where once it was deemed that we really coulnd know much about it. Today the knowledge of the solar system is commonplace, almost dull, though there may be a few places of mystery, much like the navigation of the Earth. If we have mapped the Earth, and the Solar System, it will be just a question of time, with better instruments, before we make the universe a dull place also.

If you let a mad-scientist shrink you down to a size of a photon and you still had the ability to see you would see what you see in a country field away from all man-made light as you look into the sky: all empty space with sparkles of light.

Firstly shrinking people down is a physical impossibility. Secondly, if it were possible and you could see then what you would see would be rather strange (as you would not be seeing photons would you!), and lastly you are clearly from the city:

"all empty space with sparkles of light" is not what you would see in a farmers field.
