I'm considering focussing my senior paper next spring on a topic/problem in philosophy of action. I'm not really familiar with this area at all, aside from a few philosophy of mind things. Any suggestions?

Jean-Paul Sartre has some interesting views on action. I'd suggest 'Being and Nothingness' and "No Exit" by him. There's a lot out there on the subject though, I'm not sure what kind of approach you want to take to the paper.

For such a wide field as the philosophy of action there's undoubtedly going to be entrances into it from pretty much all philosophical angles. However, from the logical angle, I've been led to believe that Davidson's work is pretty exemplary. It might be an idea to track down his essay "The logical form of action sentences".
