Very well done Paul. Worthy winner. I was sort of expecting my story to be bad, because it was my first attempt at writing a short story. Last place , I'm going to do better next time. Also I wrote that story in 5 minutes. I was actually thinking of bribing newbies to vote good for my story but thought better of it. Interview: So Paul what is the secret to your success ? Please tell so that any aspiring writer reading this can learn something. Most Importantly what does success taste like ? And how do you expect your writnig career to progress after winning such a prestigious prize ?

My secret is that I spent more than five minutes and wrote actual fiction. Success tastes like chocolate with a slight hint of mint. My career will accelerate until I eventually get published in a small e-zine.

Funny, there were six votes, all except one gave it a "good" mark. The one vote gave it a "poor" mark. maybe, some bad blood, or something. Congratulations, Paul. That was my choice as well.

I happen to know administrators can edit polls. Hmmmmm. I'm very satisfied with second place. I prepared for third or lower, but remained equally optimistic. Pessimistic optimism rules.

Well second to last, hmm well thats what I get for a two and a half minute peice. Could we do a poetry contest next? I'd probably do a bit better. Congrats Paul perhaps you could delegate your prize to someone else?
